Pilar Del Rio, a esposa do único Prémio Nobel de Literatura em língua portuguesa.Adotou a nacionalidade portuguesa e voltou a morar em Lisboa para presidir a Fundação José Saramago. Desde 2013 está pessoalmente envolvida na elaboração da Declaração Universal dos Deveres Humanos, proposta que parte de uma ideia de José Saramago e conta com a colaboração de diversas instituições. A  Camões TV  teve o privilégio de entrevistar a companheira de José Saramago por 25 anos. Falamos da dedicação e satisfação de trabalhar para continuar a obra de um dos grandes autores do século 20.

Pilar Del Rio, the wife of the only Nobel Prize winner for literature in Portuguese, adopted Portuguese nationality and moved back to Lisbon to chair the José Saramago Foundation. Since 2013, she has been personally involved in the drafting of the Universal Declaration of Human Duties, a proposal based on an idea by José Saramago and with the collaboration of various institutions. Camões TV had the privilege of interviewing José Saramago’s companion of 25 years. We talked about the dedication and satisfaction of working to continue the work of one of the great authors of the 20th century.
