Novembro marca o Mês de Prevenção do Abuso de Mulheres em Ontário e o lançamento da Campanha Coberta de Coragem, “Wrapped in Courage” organizado pela The Ontario Association Of Transition Houses (OAITH, na sigla em inglês). Como forma de educar a comunidade e as autoridades eleitas sobre a violência contra as mulheres e a necessidade de aumentar os serviços, a Associação de Casas de Apoio e Transição de Ontário lançou a campanha Wrapped in Courage em 2013.

What Is Wrapped In Courage

As a means to educate the community and elected officials about violence against women and the need for increased services, the Ontario Association of Interval & Transition Houses (OAITH) launched the Wrapped in Courage Campaign in 2013. The campaign engages local communities throughout November with the support of gender-based violence services to build awareness, connect survivors to services and to call on decision makers about the social change that is needed. #purpleisforeveryone
